The curved edges on the frame make it way easier for little hands to grip without slipping. The locks actually hold the pegs tight, so nothing pops out mid-design like our old set did.

My 4-year-old has been playing with this for an hour straight and hasn't asked for the tablet once. The pegs snap into the board with a satisfying click and stay put, even when the frame gets knocked around a bit. I've already ordered a second set for grandma's house.

The curved edges on the frame make it way easier for little hands to grip than the flat boards we had before. My daughter's been making round peg pictures for an hour straight and nothing pops loose.
