My two-year-old figured out the turn-it-upside-down trick on his own and now he just keeps going. The hammer has a nice weight to it, not too heavy for small hands, and the pegs haven't chipped at all after weeks of daily use.

The pegs are chunky enough for little hands to actually hit, and the colours keep my son going back to it for way longer than I expected. Turning it over to reset instead of losing pieces is such a simple touch that saves me constant tidying.

The pegs are chunky enough for little hands to actually grip, and my son loves the satisfying thunk when he hits one. Turning it over to reset is genius, no loose pieces to lose.
