My 5-year-old was absolutely mesmerized watching the gears spin in a chain reaction across the table. The crank is easy for small hands to turn, and it’s held up well to daily play.

The way the gears snap together and keep turning even at a distance is really satisfying. My kid figured out how to make a long chain reaction in about ten minutes and was so proud of herself. It’s a clever toy that teaches without feeling like a lesson.

My nephew couldn't stop cranking the handle to see how far the chain reaction would go, and it held his focus for over half an hour. The way the gears link together even when placed a few inches apart is clever and really teaches cause and effect.
