My 7-year-old actually asks to play with this, which never happens with math stuff. You twist the two knobs until the numbers line up and the answer shows in the little window, so she checks herself without me hovering.

Turning the two colored knobs and watching the answer pop up in the window keeps my daughter entertained way longer than flashcards ever did. She's been quizzing herself on the 6s and 8s all week without me nagging her once.

My 7-year-old figured out the 7 times table on her own in about ten minutes, and she didn't even notice she was practicing. The window that shows the result is small but surprisingly clear.
