Combi Abc+123: Learn Letters & Numbers Through Play

Quick answer

Use Combi Abc+123's dual-sided design to teach letters, numbers, and drawing through guided, playful sessions that build confidence step by step.

How to play and learn with Combi Abc+123

1. Start with letter matching: Place the magnetic letters on the board and ask your child to match them to the corresponding magnetic cards. Say the letter sound aloud each time. Avoid rushing; let your child repeat sounds at their own pace.
2. Introduce simple word building: Use the magnetic cards to show a short word (e.g., 'cat'). Have your child find and place the correct letters in order below the card. If your child struggles, reduce to two-letter words first.
3. Practice counting with numbers: Place number magnets in sequence (1 to 10). Ask your child to count aloud and point to each number. Then, present a magnetic card with a quantity and have them match the correct number. Common mistake: skipping numbers. Gently correct by counting together again.
4. Create simple math operations: Show a card like '2 + 3 = ?'. Let your child place the numbers and the plus/equals sign, then find the answer magnet. Keep sums under 10 to avoid overwhelming young learners.
5. Switch to drawing and writing: Flip the board to the wipe-out side. Use the dry markers to trace letters or numbers from the magnetic cards, then let your child draw freely. Remind your child to cap markers after use to prevent drying out.
