The gear chain reaction actually works — you crank one piece and the whole structure starts moving, which I didn't expect from a construction set. My daughter rebuilt hers three times in one afternoon just to watch the gears spin differently each time.

My kid spent two hours building a tower and then hooked up the gears so the whole thing spun in a chain reaction. Watching the motion travel from one piece to the next is honestly mesmerizing, and it kept him off the tablet all afternoon.

The chain reaction feature is what sold me, and watching the gears actually turn the whole structure is so satisfying. My kids rebuilt the same tower four different ways in one afternoon.
