I'd forgotten how much fun a simple tile game could be until we started playing this one at home. The educational value is real, my kids are doing mental math without even noticing, and 40 years on it still holds up next to all the noisy electronic stuff.

Bought this for my nephew's birthday and ended up sitting on the floor playing it with him for an hour. The educational value is real, he was already recognizing patterns by the end of the week. Forty years and it's still this good, that says something.

My kids have been playing with this for months and it still holds their attention, which never happens with other toys we've tried. It won best educational toy awards for a reason — you can actually see them thinking through the puzzles instead of just guessing.
