My daughter spent a solid hour building a little car with the perforated plates and bolts, and nothing cracked when she dropped it on the tile. I like that she doesn't need any special tools, just her hands. The plastic feels tough enough to survive my two kids fighting over it.

The wingnuts are chunky enough that my 4-year-old can tighten them without help, and the perforated plates let her build little shelves and ramps. Nothing has cracked yet even after a few tumbles down the stairs, which surprised me for plastic.

My 6-year-old figured out how to bolt the perforated plates into a little crane without me helping once. The wingnuts are chunky enough for small fingers to grip, which makes a big difference. We've rebuilt it into about five different things this week.
