Secret Code - Main image

A strategy game for two or more players, with two levels of difficulty. Using deductive reasoning and logic, the “decoder” has to break the “secret code” made up by the other player, in the least amount of tries. Then it’s the first player’s turn to create a combination of colours as complex as possible so that it can’t be decoded. The illustrated leaflets included show the different levels of difficulty of the secret code, which may be made up of 4 or 5 positions, using the 8 colours available.

Richard ★★★★★

The two difficulty levels are what sold me — easy mode is perfect for teaching my kids, and the harder setting actually makes game night competitive with adults. Breaking the code with pure deduction feels way more satisfying than luck-based games.

Matthew ★★★★★

My partner and I played this four nights straight, and the two difficulty levels are perfect since she's new to deduction games and I wanted more of a challenge. Turns out breaking someone's secret code is way more addictive than it sounds.

Bought this for a rainy weekend with my sister and we ended up playing for three hours straight. The deduction part is genuinely tricky once you switch to the harder level, and the back-and-forth guessing keeps both players thinking instead of just waiting for a turn. Easy to learn in one round too.
