Bought this set for my nephew's 9th birthday and he ignored his tablet for two hours straight. The hand launch glider flies surprisingly far once you get the throw angle right, and the propeller plane is simple enough that he assembled it himself.

The rubber band propeller plane actually flies way better than I expected, and my kid spent a solid hour winding it up and chasing it around the yard. The glider's light enough that even my five-year-old can launch it without help.

Bought this for my nephew's birthday and ended up hogging the hand launch glider myself. It's light enough to toss indoors without wrecking anything, and the propeller plane kept him busy for a solid hour. Two classics that clearly earned their decades in production.
